CESET contributes to new handbook on energy justice

The handbook offers a unique and critical perspective on energy justice and delves into an emerging field of inquiry encapsulating multiple strands of scholarship on energy systems. Covering key topics including generation, transmission, distribution and demand, it explores fundamental questions surrounding policy, climate change, security and social movements.

Chapter 5 ‘Energy justice and development’ was written by Co-I Joshua Kirshner and his colleague Jessica Omukuti. Chapter 17 ‘Energy justice as a new communal project? Community energy systems and the energy access gap’ was written by CESET Principal Investigator Vanesa Castán Broto and Enora Robin
