Joshua Kirshner presents at the 3rd Generation PV in the Developing World Conference
This morning our CESET partner Dr Joshua Kirshner from The University of York presented on 'Energy justice and sustainability transitions: Prospects for solar PV in southern Africa' at the 3rd Generation PV in the Developing World Conference organised by the North East Centre for Energy Materials, School of Engineering, Newcastle University, UK.
The conference is aimed for engineers and physicists who are developing new materials and techniques for solar PV for low carbon innovation in the global south, but also includes social scientists to discuss what works and what does not work in various contexts and local practices around renewable energy.
The conference runs from today through to Friday, registration is free and there is still opportunity to join for the rest of the week here.
