New CESET article published!

The paper details the progress made so far by Ethiopia in Achieving objectives of the SDG 7 outlined in the 2030 UN agenda of the sustainable development goals. The paper then discusses the challenges directly related to the war in the country and its impact in the energy infrastructure and the financing of continued large scale energy projects. This gives more detailed accounts of the direct destruction and its consequences on the energy infrastructures in the war-torn Tigray region and the wider regions in the country. 

The paper further outlines the possible future consequences in the energy infrastructure and the wider economy and its impact in achieving the SDG 7 if the signed peace deal fails to sustain. The paper finally recommends critical pathways for a peaceful future of the country in order to achieve the SDG 7 objectives.
